The role

From Eurofirms we select Operators for the metal sector for a leading company in the defense and metallurgy industry, dedicated to the manufacturing and development of advanced systems. Among the job functions, the following can be found:

What you'll do

Placing the casings in the headstock, securing the part with the jaws, operating the lathe, and controlling the machining process.
Machining of casings on a manual Amutio lathe (length cutting / facing).
Machining of forged cups and projectiles on CNC lathes.
Feeding the lathe using a magnetic hoist, placing the part in the chuck.
Operating the lathe and controlling the machining process.
Extraction of the machined projectile using a magnetic hoist.
Collecting the parts once machined and placing them in boxes, containers, or pallets for transfer to the next point in the manufacturing process.
Setting, adjustment, and tooling change operations.
Forging tasks.
Use of manual tools.
Control and monitoring of quality standards.
Feeding the production lines.
Polishing and packaging of already machined parts.
Among other functions typical of the job position.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months of experience in the metal sector.
We are looking for a responsible and versatile person.
Residence near the workplace is valued.
