Metalworker

From Temporing, we are selecting a Metalworker for a company in the steel sector, located in the industrial area of Gijón.

• Operate and supervise machinery and tools in the metallurgy area.

• Prepare and sort materials, loading and unloading manually and with machinery as established.

• Manual separation of scrap and ferrous materials on the production lines.

• Maintain order and cleanliness at the workstation and collaborate in basic preventive maintenance of machinery.

• Use of manual cutting tools.

• Record incidents and complete production and quality control documentation.

• Immediate incorporation with a one-month temporary contract, extendable until November, with the possibility of joining the permanent staff.

• Full-time position of 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday (Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00, and Friday from 08:00 to 14:00).

• Salary of 15.41 euros gross per hour, according to the Metal Industry Collective Agreement of the Principality of Asturias, for the professional category of First-Class Officer.

And you, do you have the Temporing attitude?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position in the metallurgical industry or metal workshops.

• Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and use of manual and power tools.

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and under time pressure.

• Experience and certification in Forklift and Overhead Crane operation will be valued.

• Compliance with occupational risk prevention (ORP) regulations.

• Training or knowledge in the steel industry will be valued.

• Availability for immediate start.

• Own vehicle is essential to travel to the workplace.

Desde Temporing, seleccionamos Un/a Operario/a del Metal, para empresa del sector de la siderurgia, ubicada en los alrededores industriales de Gijón.

• Operar y supervisar maquinaria y herramientas del área de metalurgia.

• Preparación y clasificación de materiales, carga y descarga manual y con la maquinaria establecida.

• Separación manual de chatarras y materiales férricos en las líneas de producción.

• Mantener el orden y la limpieza del puesto de trabajo y colaborar en el mantenimiento preventivo básico de la maquinaria.

• Manejo de herramientas manuales de corte.

• Registrar incidencias y cumplimentar documentación de producción y control de calidad.

• Incorporación inmediata con contrato temporal de un mes + prorrogable hasta Noviembre y posibilidad de incorporación a plantilla.

• Jornada Completa de 40h de; L-V ( Horario: de Lunes a Jueves de 08:00 a 13:00 y de 14:00 a 17:00h y Viernes 08:00 a 14:00h).

• Salario 15,41 euros brutos/hora conforme al Convenio del Metal del Principado de Asturias, para la categoría profesional de Oficial de 1ª.

Y tú, ¿Tienes actitud Temporing?

• Experiencia mínima de 1 año en puesto similar en industria metalúrgica o talleres del metal.

• Conocimientos básicos de interpretación de planos y uso de herramientas manuales y eléctricas.

• Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno dinámico y bajo presión de tiempo.

• Valorable experiencia y formación en Carretilla Elevadora y Puente Grúa.

• Cumplimiento de las normas de PRL.

• Se valorará formación o conocimientos en la industria siderúrgica.

• Disponibilidad de incorporación inmediata.

• Imprescindible vehículo propio para desplazarse al centro de trabajo.
