We are looking for a Cybersecurity Project Manager to join a team responsible for the management and coordination of strategic information security projects.

What you'll do

The selected person will be responsible for the comprehensive management of cybersecurity projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, internal and external stakeholders, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with scope, deadlines, budget, and defined objectives.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of cybersecurity projects, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, schedule, and budget.

  • Coordinate technical teams from Cybersecurity, SOC, Engineering, and other IT areas, acting as a liaison with business units.

  • Participate in projects related to SIEM, Zero Trust, IAM/PAM, supply chain security, incident response, and vulnerability management.

  • Perform risk management and monitoring, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate and monitor external vendors, consultants, and audit, pentesting, or security tool implementation projects.

  • Develop and track KPIs and KRIs, preparing reports for management and security committees.

  • Participate in follow-up meetings and ensure fluid communication with different stakeholders.

  • Identify and anticipate potential deviations in scope, schedule, budget, or risks, proposing action plans.

  • Apply Agile and traditional project management methodologies.

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in IT/Technology environments.

  • At least 2-3 years of experience managing cybersecurity or secure infrastructure projects.

  • Experience working with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and/or Waterfall methodologies.

  • Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Asana.

  • Solid knowledge of Cybersecurity, including frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.

  • Knowledge of Cloud Security in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments, as well as IAM/PAM, network architecture, cryptography, and vulnerability management.

  • Knowledge of regulations and standards related to GDPR, NIS2, DORA, PCI-DSS, and other applicable ones.

  • Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills.

  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and different stakeholders.

  • Proactive, structured profile, results-oriented, and able to manage pressure.
