Combustion Engine Innovation Engineer with New Fuels

• 🎓 Degree / Bachelor's / Master's in Engineering.
• 💻 Experience and/or knowledge with simulation tools applied to the various operating phases of ICEs.
• 🌍 High level of English and French is a plus.
• 🗣️ Knowledge of engine product design and simulation.
• 📜 Possession of functional dimensioning / ISO competencies.
• 🚆 Having experience as a combustion engine engineer that allows you to be autonomous in your day-to-day.

  • Performance Optimization: Research and apply techniques to improve the efficiency and performance of engines using different fuels.
  • New Technology Development: Participate in the application of new materials and technologies that improve engine safety and efficiency.
• 📥Testing and Validation
  • Prototype Testing: Perform performance, durability, and safety tests on new engine prototypes.
  • Results Analysis: Analyze data obtained from simulations (CFD, thermal, filling,...) and tests, implementing appropriate action plans.
  • Certification and Regulations: Ensure that engines comply with safety and environmental regulations and standards.
• 🔍 Integration and Applications
  • Systems Integration: Collaborate with other departments to integrate engines into vehicles or other applications.
  • Adaptation of Existing Technologies: Adapt and improve existing technologies for use with different types of fuels.
• 🔄 Project Management
  • Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate engine development projects, including resource and deadline management.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage potential risks associated with engine development and implementation.
• 📝 Innovation and Continuous Improvement
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date with the latest trends and advances in combustion technology and the automotive industry.
  • Innovation Proposals: Propose and lead innovation initiatives that can improve existing products or processes.
  • Impact Assessment: Evaluate the impact of new technologies and improvements in terms of sustainability, efficiency, and costs.
