Requirements

What we're looking for

To succeed in this position, we are looking for professionals who bring:

Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, or similar.
Experience in automotive projects, product quality, or project management.
Knowledge of quality methodologies and tools: APQP, FMEA, 8D, QRQC, and root cause analysis.
Ability to lead cross-functionally and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
Analytical skills, capacity for synthesis and organization. Autonomy, rigor, and proactivity.
High level of English.
Recommended experience of between 1 and 2 years in project quality, product quality, or quality convergence roles within the automotive sector.

As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring quality convergence during vehicle development, coordinating defect management, monitoring quality indicators, and the correct application of established standards and processes. You will work cross-functionally with different areas involved in the project to ensure the fulfillment of quality objectives.

What you'll do

Pilot the management and resolution of defects during the different product development phases.
Coordinate root cause analysis and define corrective action plans.
Lead quality follow-up meetings with the various project stakeholders.
Monitor quality KPIs and report the project's convergence level.
Ensure compliance with APQP processes and applicable quality standards.
Identify quality risks and escalate deviations when necessary.
Ensure the correct management of incidents, modifications, and follow-up in corporate tools.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Project, Validation, Industrialization, and Supplier teams.
