To succeed in this role, you will need to combine technical solidity in full stack development with the ability to adapt to an agile, international, and product-oriented environment. The people who stand out most in our team are
those who feel comfortable both building new features and solving complex integration or performance problems.
· TypeScript from end to end: you master the backend with NestJS and the frontend with Angular, and you can move between both layers without losing the thread.

· Quality as a habit, not a task: you perform code reviews and keep security (OWASP) in mind from the first commit, not in the last hour before deployment.
· Clear communication in mixed environments: you know how to translate technical problems to business profiles and vice versa, in Spanish and English, with teams distributed across different time zones.
· Real autonomy: you don't wait to be told what to do. You identify blockers, propose solutions, and move forward.
· Continuous learning mindset: the stack evolves and you evolve with it. New versions, new Azure services, new patterns - you see it as an opportunity, not a burden.

Essential requirements
· Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or similar, with at least 2 years of real experience developing full stack applications.
· Solid command of TypeScript and Node.js on the backend (NestJS or Express) and Angular on the frontend:
REST architecture and well-defined modules.
· Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and TypeORM: you know how to model data and write complex queries.
· English B2 or higher.

Nice to have

Ideally, you also have
· Experience working with Microsoft Azure - Functions, Service Bus, Blob Storage, Azure AD / Entra ID. If you come from AWS or GCP and are eager to move to the Azure side, you also fit.
· Knowledge of Puppeteer, Playwright, or similar automation tools; or experience with Python for scripting, integration, or mass data import.
· Curiosity about the tax and regulatory compliance domain - you don't need to be a tax expert, but you do need an interest in understanding why the software you build matters.

Full Stack Developer (NestJs / NodeJs / Angular) - EY GDS Spain - Hybrid

The opportunity
As part of our EY Tax Technology team at EY GDS Spain, you will participate in the development of modern digital platforms that transform the way leading companies manage their tax obligations globally. What differentiates this role is the unique combination of technical challenge and specialized domain: you will not only build software, but solutions that automate critical tax processes, integrate business intelligence, and serve top-tier clients across multiple countries.

You will work very closely with local and global technical and tax teams, contributing to the design and evolution of a proprietary technology suite that spans from backend APIs to web interfaces, including RPA automations, serverless processes in Azure, and tax data import and analysis tools.

As a member of our team at the EY GDS office in Málaga, you will have the opportunity to grow in a demanding and stimulating technological environment, working with the latest versions of NestJS, Angular, Azure, and TypeScript. You will actively participate in architectural decisions and high-impact projects, with international visibility and the possibility of leaving a real mark on products used by thousands of professionals.

What you'll do

Your main responsibilities
Your day-to-day will combine real product development - backend, frontend, Azure cloud, and automation - working from Málaga in a hybrid model with direct contact with local and global technical and business teams. No silos, no isolated tasks: here you see the complete system and contribute across all its layers.
· Develop and maintain RESTful APIs with NestJS and TypeScript: clean, secure, and scalable architecture.
· Build user interfaces with Angular using the corporate design system, focusing on usability and consistency.
· Model and optimize PostgreSQL schemas with TypeORM: migrations, complex queries, and performance under real load.
· Create Azure Functions (Node.js / Python) to automate tax processes: data import, market bots, user management.
· Integrate Azure services: Service Bus, Blob Storage, File Share, Application Insights, Entra ID.
· Develop and maintain RPA automation processes with Puppeteer on Azure infrastructure.
· Participate in code reviews and the evolution of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
