About the role

FCC, in its Infrastructure Area, needs to incorporate into FCC Industrial, which provides services related to industrial and energy installations, an HSE Technician with experience in a railway environment to supervise and guarantee safety conditions in construction and railway installation projects in Barcelona.

What you'll do

Your duties will include, among others:

? Control of railway works: Assembly of catenary, installations and railway signalling.

? The person will be responsible for the implementation, monitoring and control of the preventive system, acting directly in the field and ensuring compliance with current regulations; use of PPE, collective protections, signage of risk areas.

? Risk assessment and control: identification of specific risks in the railway environment; heavy machinery, work at height, electrical risk, vibrations and noise.

? Preventive planning: design of strategies to eliminate or minimise risks. Definition of measures: technical, organisational, individual and collective protective equipment.

? Training and information for workers on: specific risks of the position, correct use of PPE, emergency protocols. Delivery of safety talks.

? Regulatory supervision: verification of compliance with the Occupational Risk Prevention Law and Royal Decree 39/1997.

? Documentary control and coordination of business activities.

? Control of safety protocols in electrical risk work, interventions on live tracks, night work.

? Emergency plans and action in the event of incidents.

? Promotion of a safety culture on site, fostering good practices among workers.

? Liaison with: prevention delegates, health and safety committee.
