Junior Accountant – Accounts Payable

• University degree or Vocational Training in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and Management, or similar.
• Between 1 and 2 years of experience, preferably in accounting, accounts payable, or similar positions.
• Basic knowledge of Spanish accounting and VAT.
• Good proficiency in Excel.
• Organized, methodical person with attention to detail.
• Proactive, responsible profile with the ability to follow up on pending tasks until their resolution.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.

• Previous experience with ERP or accounting software will be valued.

As a Junior Accountant, you will mainly provide support in the area of Accounts Payable, participating in the daily management of invoices and operations related to our suppliers.

You will work in coordination with the Finance team and other departments of the company to ensure that invoices are correctly received, recorded, reconciled, and managed, following up on any incidents until their resolution.

• Manage and monitor the supplier invoice mailbox, ensuring the correct receipt, classification, and distribution of invoices to the corresponding area.
• Record and account for supplier invoices, ensuring their correct accounting and tax allocation.
• Review invoices to guarantee that the necessary information is correct and complete before their recording.
• Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring that payments and movements related to suppliers are correctly identified and recorded.
• Identify, manage, and follow up on incidents related to supplier invoices, coordinating with different internal teams and suppliers when necessary.
• Follow up on invoices pending recording, ensuring they are processed correctly and on time.
• Support the review and reconciliation of supplier balances, identifying and helping to resolve possible discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the Finance team in monthly and annual accounting closing tasks, especially those related to the supplier area.
• Provide support to the Finance team in other accounting and administrative tasks when necessary.
