Principal Java Engineer

We currently have a vacancy for a professional with experience as a Principal Java Engineer. You must have at least 10-15 years with Java, including extensive experience with Microservices and having worked on real projects using TDD, DDD, and Hexagonal Architecture methodology. Additionally, you will be able to work with other technologies such as Kafka, Google Cloud, CI/CD, etc. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person interested in working in our international projects area, so an advanced conversational English level is also required.

Although they will depend on your profile and experience, in general your main duties would include:

• Analyze and program both existing code and from scratch, and perform maintenance of medium-complexity software modules, working from requirements and specifications provided orally and in writing.
• Assign tasks to the various members of the team.
• Perform code reviews of other developers and provide improvement points.
• Support more junior profiles by acting as a point of reference when they need help or support on specific topics.
• Help in the development of prototypes of software modules and applications.
• Develop unit tests and take responsibility for the unit testing of your own code. Consolidate knowledge of all testing and bug tracking tools and templates used within the project.
• Participate in different phases of the development cycle.

• Degree in Computer Engineering (or equivalent) or Higher or Intermediate Vocational Training in IT.
• At least 10-15 years of experience with Java.
• Experience in Microservices architecture and Spring Boot.
• Experience in real projects with TDD, DDD, and Hexagonal Architecture.
• Experience with JUnit is valued.
• Experience with Kafka, CI/CD, Google Cloud, etc. is desirable.
• Good conversational English level.
