What you'll do

Gridlines' commercial director for LATAM is responsible for setting and achieving the organisation's revenue and profit targets within the region. He/she leads and manages the sales, marketing, and business development teams, ensuring they have the resources, training, and support they need to perform effectively. He/she also develops and maintains relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders, and negotiates contracts and agreements. Furthermore, he/she monitors and analyses market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities, providing information and recommendations to senior management and the board of directors.

At a strategic level, the commercial director makes decisions that directly impact the company's growth and positioning. These are their main responsibilities. functions :

  • Participation in the company's strategic decision-making.
  • Market analysis and identification of new business opportunities.
  • Development and implementation of long-term business strategies, creating annual action plans towards the defined objectives.
  • Participation in the preparation and control of the annual commercial budget, both for expenses and sales.
  • Participation in defining the product or service offering.

These strategic functions allow the commercial director to align the commercial area with the company's overall objectives.
