About the role

From the UCH-CEU Veterinary Clinical Hospital at CEU Cardenal Herrera University, we are looking for Clinical Veterinarians with training and experience in different specialty areas (internal medicine, emergency medicine, surgery, traumatology, neurology, hospitalization, equine...) to join our professional team.

This call for applications creates a job bank intended to cover different temporary or structural needs across the various hospital departments.

What you'll do

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general clinical veterinary practice and/or duties in the corresponding specialty area, including diagnosing animal pathologies and providing treatments, in order to improve animal health.

  • Effectively communicate the condition of animals and follow up on required treatments.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

  • Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to ensure animal welfare.

  • Availability to be on specialty on-call duty and attend to any emergencies that may arise.

  • Conduct practical training sessions with students through clinical activity and/or mentoring undergraduate or postgraduate students.

What we're looking for

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine. Degrees obtained abroad must be officially recognized and validated in accordance with the Spanish official degree framework, or be in the process of obtaining such recognition.

  • Continuing education in any of the aforementioned specialty areas.

  • Documented professional experience in any of the aforementioned areas.

Nice to have

  • Recognized international specialization certificates will be valued.

  • A Doctorate, Master's degree, or postgraduate studies in any of these areas will be valued.

  • Immediate availability is preferred.

  • A high level of English and/or French will be valued.
