What we're looking for

Essential requirements:

- Demonstrable experience as an automotive prep painter.

- Real experience in bodywork repair shops.

- Ability to prepare and paint vehicles in the booth with autonomy.

- Good mastery of blending, color matching, and finishes.

- Ability to work with production times without losing quality.

- Organized, responsible person accustomed to working in a team.

Nice to have

The following will be especially valued:

- Experience with Standox Standohyd Plus Basecoat paint systems.

- Experience in workshops with a high level of demand in quality and finish.

- Good level of autonomy and problem-solving ability.

The role

From Grupo Crit, we are selecting an Automotive Prep Painter for direct hiring into a body and paint shop with over 50 years of experience, located in Alcalá de Guadaíra (Seville).

This is a stable position, with an indefinite contract and real possibilities for growth and projection within the workshop. We are looking for a professional with proven experience, technical autonomy, and the ability to take responsibility for the complete preparation and painting process.

What you'll do

Main duties:

- Complete surface preparation: filling, sanding, priming, masking, and taping.

- Preparation and application of water-based paint and clear coat.

- Autonomous handling of spray booths and painting equipment.

- Performing blending and color matching.

- Control of finishes.

- Detection and correction of possible defects.

- Self-control of the quality of the work performed.

- Coordination with the team and following the workshop schedule.
