Requirements
What we're looking for
If you are passionate about customer service and have experience in the butchery sector, we would like to meet you.
- Experience in food commercial establishments (supermarkets, cash and carry).
- Experience in the BUTCHERY section of at least 6 months (especially at the public service counter, preparation areas or similar).
- Experience in cutting, filleting, and butchering. Knowledge of the different types of products.
- Experience in setting up/taking down the counter.
- Experience in management and control of the section.
Nice to have
- Experience in other sections such as Deli, fishmonger, and fruit and veg will be valued.

The role
We are looking to hire BUTCHERY ASSISTANTS for our cash & carry establishments and supermarkets located in Vigo and its surrounding area.
What you'll do
- Counter service and sale of butchery products (cutting, preparation, handling...) at the counter.
- Control and reception of raw meat materials and auxiliaries, the storage and dispatch of meat pieces and products.
- Conditioning of meat for commercialization or industrial use, guaranteeing its traceability.
- Management and preparation of the assortment of butchery processed products.
- Management and preparation of customer orders.
- Placement and removal of product at the counter and cold room.
- Order and cleanliness of the work areas.
- Versatility within the store and teamwork.
- Collaboration in tasks within the establishment.
How you'll work
Full-time, in rotating shifts from Monday to Saturday in most of our establishments.
Temporary contract with the possibility of permanent employment.
