Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar.
At least 10 years of professional experience in the telecommunications sector.
Experience in ground stations, SATCOM systems, or the ground segment.
Experience in systems, software, and integration engineering.
Ability to analyze requirements and define functionalities and interfaces between systems.
Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
Possess the HPS required for the service.

Nice to have

Knowledge of ECSS standards.
Experience with DOORS, MBSE, Capella, and UML.
Knowledge of TT&C (telemetry, tracking, and command).
Experience with NMS systems and Monitoring & Control platforms.
Knowledge of APIs and distributed architectures.
Upper-intermediate or advanced English, especially for working with technical documentation.

The role

Do you have experience in SATCOM systems and software integration for ground stations? Participate in a satellite communications systems engineering challenge, working on functional architecture, requirements, and software solution integration.

We are looking for a senior profile capable of connecting systems, interfaces, and functionalities of the ground segment in an international technological environment.

What you'll do

Decompose requirements and define the functional architecture of SATCOM ground segment systems.
Specify operating modes, functional flows, and relationships between subsystems.
Coordinate the integration of Monitoring & Control (M&C) systems, Network Management Systems (NMS), planning, simulators, and support systems.
Define use cases, interfaces, and test requirements.
Participate in the specification and integration of software functions for satellite communications systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coherence between requirements, architecture, and integration.
Work with technical documentation in English in an international context.

Contract: Permanent.
Work location: San Fernando de Henares (Madrid).
Modality: Hybrid, with 40-60% remote work.
Schedule: According to the work center calendar.
Salary: Based on work experience.
Availability to travel: At a national and international level.
Security requirement: It is essential to possess the HPS required for the service.
