Requirements

What we're looking for

At least 5 years of experience in IT systems operation and maintenance projects.
Higher Level Vocational Training degree.
Experience in the administration and operation of on-premise environments.
Knowledge of Linux, especially Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and Windows Server.
Experience with VMware and Active Directory.
Knowledge of cluster solutions, such as Pacemaker or Veritas.
Experience with monitoring tools, such as Zabbix or similar.
Proficiency with task and incident management tools, such as Jira, and ITSM solutions.
Knowledge of request management through Maximo or equivalent tools.
English level B2-C1.
Ability to analyze incidents, resolve problems, and collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams.

Nice to have

Experience in cloud environments, especially AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of Kubernetes, particularly MicroK8s.
Experience in firewalling and LAN networks.
ITIL 4 certification.
Experience in international environments and collaboration with different technical teams.
Flexibility to work with different technologies and adapt to service needs.

What you'll get

Salary: Based on work experience. 25,000-30,000 € p/a.

The role

Do you have experience in systems operation and IT platform maintenance? Do you move easily between Linux, Windows, virtualization, and infrastructure technologies?

We are looking for a senior profile to work in the operation and maintenance of technological platforms, guaranteeing their availability, performance, and security in complex infrastructure environments.

What you'll do

Supervise and maintain IT platforms in on-premise environments and, where applicable, cloud.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to guarantee the availability and performance of systems.
Manage and resolve technical incidents, escalating them when necessary.
Monitor systems and analyze potential performance, availability, or security issues.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, support, and vendor teams to resolve incidents and improve operations.
Manage requests and tasks using ITSM tools.
Keep technical documentation, architecture, and operating procedures up to date.

How you'll work

Contract: Permanent.
Modality: 100% remote work.
Work location: San Fernando de Henares, Madrid.
On-call: Possibility of participating in 24/7 on-call shifts.
