European Funds and Innovation Consultant

At Gestiona Proyecta Grupo we continue to grow and are looking to add a European Projects and Innovation Consultant to our team, with an interest in European funding, international cooperation, and the development of R&D&i projects.

We are looking for a person who wants to participate in the identification, preparation, presentation, and management of projects funded by the European Union, working with companies, public administrations, entities, and international partners.

The position will be especially linked to European funding and cooperation programs such as Interreg Europe, Interreg POCTEP, Interreg Sudoe, Interreg POCTEFA, LIFE, and Horizon Europe (HE), among others.

The objective will be to accompany our clients throughout the entire life cycle of their European projects: from the detection of opportunities and the design of proposals to their execution, monitoring, and justification.

• Identification of European funding opportunities: analysis and monitoring of European Union calls, programs, and policies, with special attention to Interreg Europe, Interreg POCTEP, Interreg Sudoe, Interreg POCTEFA, LIFE, and Horizon Europe, as well as complementary national and regional opportunities.

• Design and formulation of European projects: definition of the project approach, objectives, activities, results, indicators, timeline, budget, and implementation structure in accordance with the requirements of each program.

• Writing of proposals: preparation of technical reports and documentation necessary for the presentation of projects to European calls.

• Work with international consortia: coordination with companies, administrations, universities, technological centers, and other European organizations for the preparation and development of collaborative projects.

• Management and monitoring of European projects: control of the execution level of activities, deliverables, milestones, indicators, and budget, ensuring compliance with the requirements established by the funding programs.

• Reporting and justification: preparation and review of technical and financial reports and justification reports, as well as support in communication with joint secretariats, managing authorities, and other bodies responsible for the programs.

• Strategic advisory to clients: identification of funding programs and instruments that allow for the development of their innovation, internationalization, territorial cooperation, and growth strategies.

• Combination of funding instruments: analysis of the complementarity between European funding, national and regional aid, incentives, and other mechanisms linked to R&D&i projects.

• Monitoring of European policies and trends: monitoring of European Union strategic priorities, new technologies, innovation policies, and emerging fields that may generate new funding opportunities.

A person with analytical capacity, project orientation, and ease in working with technical documentation and multidisciplinary and international teams.

• English level, both oral and written.

• Knowledge of other languages, especially French and Portuguese, will be positively valued.
