Cloud Operations Engineer Azure & AI

We are looking for an autonomous, decisive person oriented toward quality, with the ability to approach end-to-end development and operate in complex Cloud environments.

We especially value the combination of backend development + Cloud + AI, as well as the ability to automate processes, resolve technical problems, and take solutions from the design phase to production.

Essential requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in Cloud, Infrastructure, Backend, or DevOps.
• Availability for business travel
• Demonstrable experience in Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Solid experience developing backend and APIs.
• Practical mastery of Python.
• Experience with Generative AI, NLP, RAG, and LLMs.
• Experience with Azure services, especially:
• Azure Functions
• App Services
• Cosmos DB
• Key Vault
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of Bicep and/or CloudFormation.
• Experience with automation and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps or equivalents.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Knowledge of Azure Networking, including VNET, NSG, and related components.
• Knowledge of data stores, databases, IAM, and Cloud Security.
• Experience with scripting using Python, PowerShell, YAML, KQL, or other equivalent technologies.
• Experience with testing automation harnesses and frameworks.
• Ability to manage cloud configurations, environments, and workflows through automation/self-service.

At Grupo NS, we are hiring a Cloud Operations Engineer to join a technological project in the Insurance sector in Barcelona (3 days in office + 2 days remote).

We are looking for a profile with 5-7 years of experience in Cloud, Infrastructure, or DevOps, with demonstrable experience in Azure and AWS, and solid knowledge of backend development, APIs, and Artificial Intelligence applied to production environments.

The position combines Cloud Engineering, backend development, automation, and Generative AI, participating in the design and development of scalable solutions on Azure.

What will you do?

• Design and develop scalable backend solutions and APIs on Microsoft Azure.
• Integrate advanced Artificial Intelligence capabilities into production environments.
• Develop solutions using Python as the primary technology.
• Work with Generative AI, NLP, RAG, and LLMs.
• Implement and evolve solutions on Azure services such as:
• Azure Functions
• Azure App Services
• Azure Cosmos DB
• Azure Key Vault
• Develop end-to-end solutions, from design to deployment and production rollout.
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of technical incidents.
• Apply best practices for development, quality, and code maintainability.

• Manage cloud environments, configurations, and workflows through automation and self-service solutions.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
