Senior BESS Lead Engineer – Engineering & Proposals

We are looking to add a Senior BESS Lead Engineer to our team who will participate in the technical evaluation for photovoltaic and hybrid or standalone large-scale BESS projects, analyzing bids from leading manufacturers in the sector and other international suppliers.

Your responsibilities will include:

Technical analysis of BESS bids

• Review and evaluation of technical proposals from BESS system manufacturers.
• Verification of supply scopes and detection of exclusions or omissions.
• Standardization and technical comparison of bids from different suppliers.
• Preparation of technical-economic comparison matrices.
• Identification of deviations from client specifications and tender requirements.

Engineering Support

• Conceptual definition and optimization of BESS configurations.
• Review of system architecture.

Technical management with manufacturers

• Technical liaison with national and international suppliers.
• Clarification of bids and technical negotiation.

To join our team, you need:

Education: Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or similar.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in BESS systems, participation in utility-scale projects. Experience in hybrid PV + BESS projects is valued.

Technical knowledge: Electrochemical storage technologies, EMS and PPC, SCADA, and industrial communications.

Languages: English at least B2 level.

Buscamos incorporar a nuestro equipo un Senior BESS Lead Engineer que participará en la evaluación técnica para proyectos fotovoltaicos e híbridos o BESS aislados de gran tamaño, analizando ofertas den fabricantes líderes del sector y otros proveedores internacionales.

Tus responsabilidades incluirán:

Análisis técnico de ofertas BESS

• Revisión y evaluación de propuestas técnicas de fabricantes de sistemas BESS.
• Verificación de alcances de suministro y detección de exclusiones u omisiones.
• Homogeneización y comparación técnica de ofertas de distintos proveedores.
• Elaboración de matrices comparativas técnico-económicas.
• Identificación de desviaciones respecto a especificaciones de cliente y requisitos de licitación.

Soporte a Ingeniería

• Definición conceptual y optimización de configuraciones BESS.
• Revisión de arquitectura de sistemas

Gestión técnica con fabricantes

• Interlocución técnica con proveedores nacionales e internacionales.
• Clarificación de ofertas y negociación técnica.

Para unirte a nuestro equipo, necesitas:

Formación: Ingeniería Industrial, Ingeniería Eléctrica, Ingeniería Energética o similar.

Experiencia : Mínimo 5 años de experiencia en sistemas BESS, participación en proyectos utility scale. Valorable experiencia en proyectos híbridos FV + BESS.

Conocimientos técnicos: Tecnologías de almacenamiento electroquímico, EMS y PPC, SCADA y comunicaciones industriales.

Idiomas: Inglés nivel alto mínimo B2.
