Requirements

What we're looking for

Vocational Training (FP) Intermediate or Higher level (installations, maintenance, mechanics, electricity, or similar).
More than 3 years of experience in Fire Protection Systems (FPS) companies.
Experience in the assembly of steel piping networks for FPS systems.
Knowledge of fire hose reels (BIEs), hydrants, pressure sets, pumps, and sprinklers.
Interpretation of hydraulic blueprints.
Experience in grooved, threaded, or press-fit welding.
Knowledge of RIPCI regulations.
60-hour Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) training, working at heights, and aerial work platforms.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

The role

We are looking for a Fire Protection Systems (FPS) Installation Technician specialized in Industrial Plumbing to join a company in the Fire Protection sector located in Villafranqueza (Alicante). The selected person will be part of the technical team in charge of the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems, participating in both new installations and corrective and preventive actions on existing systems.

Among their main functions are the installation and maintenance of fire extinguishers, equipped fire hose reels (BIEs), hydrants, steel piping networks, pressure sets, fire pumps, automatic sprinkler systems, and water supply networks for FPS installations. They will also perform assembly and repair work on hydraulic systems, ensuring compliance with current regulations and established quality and safety standards.

We are looking for a person with proven experience in companies within the FPS sector, solid knowledge of industrial plumbing and interpretation of hydraulic blueprints, and accustomed to working with steel and copper piping, pumping systems, and industrial welding and assembly techniques. We will especially value profiles with the capacity for autonomous work, technical orientation, and experience in fire protection installations within an industrial scope.
