What we're looking for

University degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent education.
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in contract management within industrial, construction, energy, or engineering environments.
Solid knowledge of public and private procurement, FIDIC, or other contractual frameworks applicable to the sector.
Negotiation, dispute resolution, and claims management skills.
Analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in assessing the economic impact of contractual changes.
Proficiency in office tools and experience with ERPs or document management systems.
Advanced level of Spanish and English; knowledge of other languages will be valued depending on the project.

The role

At RDT we are looking to bring on a Contract Manager to join our team and efficiently manage contracts and relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors in industrial and engineering projects.

Ensuring proper contract management throughout the project lifecycle, protecting the company's interests, ensuring compliance with deadlines and obligations, and contributing to the mitigation of legal, commercial, and economic risks.

What you'll do

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with corporate policy and project requirements.
Managing contract modifications, change orders, and work certification, overseeing the impact on cost, schedule, and scope.
Coordinating with technical, commercial, and project teams to interpret contractual clauses and support decision-making.
Identifying, assessing, and mitigating contractual and commercial risks; proposing and implementing corrective measures.
Managing claims, disputes, and conflict resolution processes, including preparing documentation and support for negotiations or proceedings.
Developing and maintaining templates, standard clauses, and contractual procedures, promoting best practices and regulatory compliance.
Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations regarding quality, health and safety, environment, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Supporting cost control activities and contractual reporting to Project Management and Commercial Management.
Participating in training and knowledge transfer on contractual matters to the project team.

How you'll work

Availability to travel and, when required, to stay on site or at client facilities.
