Electrical Technician - Discharge Agent

We are looking to hire an Electrical Tradesperson - Discharge Agent for our Operations team. You will be responsible for managing and controlling electrical discharges during work on Low and Medium Voltage networks, guaranteeing maximum safety and compliance with operating procedures and occupational risk prevention. Main functions: Request, manage, coordinate, and return the electrical discharge, maintaining control throughout the entire intervention. Maintain permanent communication with the Distributor's Operation Center, reporting incidents and coordinating necessary maneuvers. Guarantee electrical safety throughout the entire intervention, correctly applying the 5 Golden Rules, authorizing the start of work only when safe conditions exist and suspending it if risks are detected. Verify that all personnel have left the area before service restoration, ensuring the safe reinstatement of the installation. Comply with current regulations and internal procedures, and avoid any maneuver that could put workers, third parties, or installations at risk. Complete and safeguard the documentation and records associated with the discharge.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in work on electrical distribution networks, including exploitation maneuvers and electrical consignments/discharges. Experience in coordinating work teams. Training in Electricity or an equivalent qualification. Training in Occupational Risk Prevention for metal sector work and in Low and Medium Voltage installations. Specific training in electrical consignments and discharges, as well as that required by the distribution company where applicable. Knowledge of applicable operating procedures. Knowledge of Low and Medium Voltage networks and installations, including electrical maneuvers, consignments, and discharges, as well as the applicable Operating Standards for work on networks and Transformation Centers. Interpretation of electrical diagrams and application of the 5 Golden Rules. Handling of voltage absence detection and earthing equipment. Capacity for communication and operational coordination with Control Centers.
