Position Summary
You will be responsible for planning and scheduling production and material activities to ensure supply from our Aranda de Duero factory. You will work with production, planning, warehouse, quality, and suppliers to ensure materials and products arrive on time. What you'll do
- Create and maintain production and material schedules in short and medium horizons to support the supply plan.
- Manage orders in the ERP system and update material status according to deadlines, receipts, and exceptions.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify shortage risks, and trigger replenishment actions.
- Coordinate with quality and warehouse for the receipt, sampling, and release of materials.
- Investigate the impact of incidents on material supply and production, and identify and prioritize urgencies, minimizing supply risks.
- Support continuous improvement projects to optimize scheduling processes and material availability.
Responsibilities
- Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tasks to ensure material availability.
- Maintain and optimize material master parameters and inventory policies in the ERP.
- Review system exception messages, resolve deviations, and escalate risks when necessary.
- Collaborate with suppliers and purchasing to manage delivery dates and corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain clear records to support quality and safety audits.
- Measure key performance indicators (e.g., scheduling compliance, stock levels) and share analysis with the team.
