What we're looking for

Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention covering all three specialties (Safety, Hygiene, and Ergonomics/Psychosociology).
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Health and Safety at Work (PRL) Technician in construction companies.
Demonstrable experience in building projects, preferably in the construction of large buildings.
Knowledge of current health and safety regulations.
Ability to work autonomously, with initiative and a focus on resolving incidents on site.

The role

At Marlex, we are looking for a Health and Safety at Work (PRL) Technician to join a major construction project in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on a permanent basis.

The selected candidate will be part of a large-scale project related to the construction of a major building, responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations during the execution of the works.

What you'll do

Supervising compliance with Health and Safety at Work regulations on site.
Carrying out safety inspections and identifying potential risks, proposing and implementing preventive and corrective measures.
Coordinating preventive activities with contractors, subcontractors, and other parties involved in the project.
Investigating accidents and incidents and preparing the corresponding reports.
Managing the preventive documentation for companies and workers (CAE).
Advising the Site Management and the various managers on health and safety matters.
Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and current legislation throughout all project phases.
