The role

Ready to take the next step in your career?

Join a rapidly growing, vertically integrated AI infrastructure and data centre owner-operator building large-scale campuses for next-generation AI and high-performance computing. With significant access to land and power across North America, the organization develops, owns, and operates its own infrastructure and delivers GPU clusters for AI training and inference from grid-connected sites in renewable-rich regions.

The company is currently on the lookout for a Grid Specialist to support grid connection activities across its growing pipeline of large-scale data centre projects in Spain. The ideal candidate will help assess grid capacity, coordinate connection processes, and keep projects moving through key utility milestones, working with the Senior Grid Manager and the development, engineering, land, planning, and permitting teams, as well as grid operators, utilities, and external consultants.

  • Coordinate grid requirements with internal development, land, planning, engineering, legal and permitting teams.
  • Support communication and information exchange with grid operators, utilities, technical consultants and other external stakeholders.
  • Assist in reviewing technical studies, grid impact assessments, connection offers and associated documentation, identifying key assumptions, requirements, risks and dependencies.
  • Monitor grid connection milestones, deadlines, constraints and project dependencies, escalating issues to the Senior Grid Manager where required.
  • Support the integration of grid connection requirements into wider project development plans and timelines.
  • Contribute to improving grid information management, reporting templates and coordination processes across the Spanish development portfolio.
