What you'll do

Function 1: PATIENT CARE

Verify that the patient is correctly identified upon admission to the hospital center, checking the personal data appearing on the identification bracelet as well as in the medical history.

Assess the patient's needs and schedule nursing care and prescribed medication according to the corresponding medical procedure, while also resolving any doubts that may arise regarding this.

Accompany the doctor during ward rounds, and act according to their requirements.

Collaborate with auxiliary staff in performing patient hygiene, mobilization, and meals, as well as in bed making when the patient's condition requires it, especially in cases of patients requiring special care.

Prepare the patient for transfers to other units or scheduled tests, according to protocol.

Adequately inform the patient and/or family about their progress, the characteristics of the unit, and operating rules.

Manage and control the administration of diets according to the patient's needs, and educate patients on the promotion of healthy habits.

Participate in the control of nosocomial diseases by complying with established procedures.

Function 2: SERVICE OPERATIONS

Support and facilitate the material requested by the doctor during the performance of certain techniques/interventions.

University Degree in Nursing or official recognition in its case. Proactive attitude and ability to work in a team. Availability to work in rotating shifts of mornings, afternoons, and nights. Professional registration in the province where you will practice.

What you'll do

Función 1: ATENCIÓN AL PACIENTE

Comprobar que el paciente está correctamente identificado una vez que ingresa en el centro hospitalario, verificando los datos personales que aparecen en el brazalete de identificación así como en el historial médico.

Valorar las necesidades del paciente y programar los cuidados de enfermería y medicación pautada según el procedimiento médico correspondiente, solventando a su vez las dudas que le puedan surgir al respecto.

Acompañar al médico/a en el pase de visita, y actuar según demanda del mismo.

Colaborar con el personal auxiliar en la realización del aseo, movilización y comidas de los pacientes, así como en la preparación de camas cuando el estado del paciente lo requiera, especialmente en casos de pacientes con cuidados especiales.

Preparar al paciente para traslados a otras unidades, pruebas programadas, según protocolo.

Informar adecuadamente al paciente y/o familia sobre su evolución y características de la unidad y normas de funcionamiento.

Gestionar y controlar la administración de dietas según las necesidades del paciente, y formar a los pacientes en la promoción de hábitos saludables.

Participar en el control de enfermedades nosocomiales cumpliendo los procedimientos establecidos.

Función 2: OPERATIVAS DEL SERVICIO

Apoyar y facilitar el material solicitado por el médico/a durante la realización de determinadas técnicas/intervenciones.
