About the role

Your role:

We are looking for a Technician Accounting and Reporting for Fixed Assets and Aircraft Fleet who will be responsible for the accounting, analysis, and reporting of operations related to the company's Fixed Assets, with a special focus on the aircraft fleet, ensuring their proper reflection in the Financial Statements and contributing to regulatory compliance and the reliability of financial information.

Your challenges:

What you'll do

  • Account for transactions related to the Aircraft Fleet and other fixed assets.
  • Analysis, control, and reflection in the Financial Statements of the accounting processes related to the aircraft fleet, financial and operating leasing (IFRS16), components, overhauls, advances, and associated debt.
  • Preparation of fixed assets and aircraft fleet reporting (monthly and quarterly reporting to the IAG Group, audits, preparation of the depreciation budget).
  • Participation in the preparation of annual accounts (Fixed assets note).
  • Compliance with accounting regulations (IFRS and Spanish General Accounting Plan) and SCIIF controls.
  • Support for internal and external audits.

What we're looking for

Your knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
  • Experience in finance or accounting.
  • Experience in general SAP and specific Fixed Assets and SAP RE
  • Solid knowledge of the Spanish General Accounting Plan and IFRS (especially Fixed Assets).
  • Languages: advanced English (B2 or higher).
