Engine maintenance is a highly in-demand professional field within a rapidly growing aerospace sector, characterized by its deep specialization in cutting-edge technologies.  

If you have completed your intermediate or advanced vocational training studies in Automotive and want to give your professional career a new direction, Iberia now offers you the opportunity to become an Aviation Turbine Engine Maintenance Technician, specializing in Verification. 

The main duties of the position are: 

• Assess the usefulness of parts disassembled and processed in the workshop. 

• Characterize damage and report the final condition of the parts.  

• Make inquiries to engine engineering and repair engineering. 

• Identify and preserve processed parts. 

• Report the condition of the reviewed material in the database. 

The following will be valued: 

• Experience in reading and interpreting manuals (in English) for carrying out inspections.  

• English knowledge that allows reading and writing texts and technical reports at a minimum level of B1.

Hold one of the following Vocational Training qualifications: 

• Intermediate or Advanced Vocational Training cycles in Automotive Education 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in vehicle repair workshops or technical inspections (ITV). 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in machinery Quality inspections in industrial environments. 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Expert Surveyor.

Técnico de Mantenimiento Taller de Motores de Iberia: Verificación e Inspección. 

El mantenimiento de motores es un campo profesional con alta demanda dentro de un sector aeroespacial en fuerte crecimiento, que se caracteriza por su gran especialización en las tecnologías más punteras.  

Si has completado tus estudios en grado medio o superior de FP de Automoción y quieres darle un giro a tu carrera profesional, ahora Iberia te ofrece la posibilidad de convertirte en Técnico de Mantenimiento de Motores de turbina de aviación, en la especialidad de Verificación. 

Las funciones principales del puesto son: 

• Evaluar la utilidad de las piezas desmontadas y procesadas en el taller. 

• Caracterizar daños y reportar el estado final de las piezas.  

• Realizar consultas a ingeniería de motor e ingeniería de reparación. 

• Identificar y preservar las piezas procesadas. 

• Reportar la condición del material revisado en la base de datos. 

Se valorará: 

• Experiencia en lectura e interpretación de manuales (en inglés) para la realización de inspecciones.  

Idiomas: 

• Conocimiento de inglés que permita la lectura y la escritura de textos e informes técnicos de un nivel mínimo de B1.

Contar con alguno de los siguientes títulos de Formación Profesional: 

• Ciclos formativos de Grado Medio o Superior de Educación en Automoción 

• Experiencia mínima de 2 años en talleres de reparación de vehículos o en inspecciones técnicas (ITV). 

• Experiencia mínima de 2 años en inspecciones de Calidad de maquinarias en entornos industriales. 

• Experiencia  mínima de 2 años como Perito.
