Senior Accountant - Controller (Native/Bilingual French)

• An in-depth knowledge of the French accounting and tax system is the essential prerequisite for the position. You have solid experience in French accounting and taxation: you have worked for a French company (in France or in Spain) using the General Accounting Plan (PCG), and you have at least 3 years of experience

• You have a background in French administration, finance, and accounting, or equivalent

• Native/bilingual French or, failing that, excellent command of French (C1 level)

• Proficient Spanish (C1 level); English is highly appreciated

• Excel at a very advanced level; knowledge of ERP Navision or Business Central is an asset

• Experience in financial audit is appreciated, though not indispensable

• You are proactive and resilient, you learn and adapt quickly to new environments

• You manage your time well and have strong organizational skills

• You are available for regular business travel

As part of our business development, we are looking for a versatile French-speaking Accounting & Reporting Manager, possessing great rigor and an in-depth knowledge of the French accounting and tax system, supported by solid experience in French accounting and taxation. You will participate in maintaining the accounts and producing reports intended both for the central finance team and for teams in other countries: balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow statement, tax obligations, relationship with statutory auditors, and other financial deliverables.

• Maintain the company's general accounting according to French regulations, with a high degree of autonomy

• Prepare each month the French balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and cash flow statement, as well as the reporting to the central finance team, ensuring the accuracy of the figures

• Collaborate closely with finance teams in other countries by developing financial and analytical reports on Excel, at an advanced level (complex formulas; proficiency in macros is appreciated)

• Perform and coordinate administrative activities: fixed assets, suppliers, prepaid expenses, banks, etc.

• Prepare, together with external tax advisors, the taxes applicable to the French company, and ensure compliance with current tax regulations

• Guarantee compliance with current accounting regulations in France

• Manage the relationship with the statutory auditors of the French company

• Coordinate with different teams (sales, technology, etc.) in order to assess the accounting and tax consequences of decisions made for the subsidiary.

• Provide support for any other financial task requested by the central finance department
