Analytics Engineer

We are looking for a highly technical and analytical profile to join our technology team, which works in close collaboration with the business in idealista/data.

As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a key role in the efficient exploitation of our data:

• Design, build, and orchestrate pipelines that transform raw data into client-ready datasets.

• Develop optimized SQL queries and scalable ETL processes.

• Automate key workflows with Airflow and dbt, migrating to that stack from internal frameworks.

• Continuously monitor products to ensure reliable data delivery.

• Refactor and optimize existing data pipelines to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Document processes and build reusable and maintainable data sources.

• Collaborate with the idealista/data business unit to build better data products, coordinating with the data governance team and other data teams to be as effective as possible.

The position also involves performing exploratory analysis to identify improvements and provide recommendations with business impact. A fundamental part of your work will be adapting existing solutions to new markets and needs, always seeking efficiency, scalability, and robustness.

• Build and maintain data pipelines to deliver high-quality metrics and datasets.

• Orchestrate workflows with Apache Airflow, dbt, and Clickhouse.

• Optimize SQL queries and design efficient transformations for different segmentation needs (time, geography, product type).

• Monitor pipeline health, resolve incidents, and proactively identify opportunities to improve scalability and reliability.

• Perform exploratory analysis to propose improvements and generate business impact.

• Collaborate closely with business experts and data engineering teams.

• Document code, processes, and data products to promote reuse and scalability.

• Share knowledge and support your colleagues within the Data Crew.

• Support advanced analytics projects by providing clean and reliable datasets.

The position is full remote, but we expect you to join us in person for:

• Onboarding sessions.

• Social events.

• At least one quarterly meeting with the team.
