🏥 Medical Director - New IMED Barcelona Hospital (Cornellà)

Would you like to lead a newly opened hospital from the start in Barcelona?

At IMED Hospitales, we are building the management team for our first hospital in Catalonia, located in Cornellà de Llobregat: a modern, technology-driven center designed to offer the highest quality of care.

We are looking for a Medical Director who wants to take on a strategic challenge: to build, lead, and consolidate the care model of a hospital from its very beginning.

We are talking about a nine-story hospital with 136 rooms and 17 operating theaters, including ICU units (adult, neonatal, and pediatric), 24-hour emergency services, obstetrics, hemodynamics, and all the services needed to provide comprehensive care.

But beyond the numbers, we are talking about an environment designed with our distinctive approach: a sole focus on patient well-being and a firm commitment to innovation and medical technology.

The person who joins will play a key role in leading the hospital's medical strategy, coordinating clinical teams, defining protocols, and ensuring that every decision is aligned with quality, patient safety, and continuous improvement. They will also be a key part of building the medical team, attracting talent, and fostering a demanding yet collaborative professional culture.

Requirements

We are looking for a professional with experience in hospital medical management, strategic vision, and the ability to execute, who understands today's healthcare environment and wants to take on a project with real impact:

Degree in Medicine (training in healthcare management will be valued)
Experience in hospital Medical Management (5–8 years).
Knowledge of the private healthcare environment in Catalonia.
Experience leading teams and managing change.
Strategic profile, with the ability to execute and influence.
