At IMQ Igurco, we are looking for AUXILIARY NURSING professionals to join our center in Vitoria. A stable, full-time employment contract is offered in morning and afternoon shifts.

• Provide personalized care to residents/users in assistance tasks according to the Center's action protocols for the assistant category.
• Assist the DUEs (Nursing Assistants) regarding the updating of the residents' Individualized Care Plan.
• Record in the care plan the activities performed, the scheduled follow-ups, as well as the communication of all incidents occurring during the course of the work shift.
• Participate actively in the scheduled interdisciplinary meetings.
• Review the correct state of the resident or user.
• Provide support to the user in performing the ADLs (activities of daily living) scheduled by Nursing supervision, or the coordination of assistants: personal hygiene, ambulation and transfers, assistance with toileting, administration of scheduled medication prepared under the supervision of the DUE when necessary, food intake...
• Perform simple wound dressings as a delegated function of the DUEs and under their supervision, according to the appropriate level of action for a Geriatric Assistant.
• Take vital signs and weight under the supervision of the DUEs.
• Collaborate in the adaptation of new residents/users and inform the coordination of assistants or psychology regarding their evolution.
• Help the nursing staff with post-mortem care.
• Collaborate with the various professionals of the technical team (Sociocultural Animator, rehabilitation, psychology, occupational therapist...) in the performance and recording of the scheduled activities and actions.
• Maintain order in the rooms, wardrobes, and the rest of the facilities. Control of lounges, setup, and control of dining rooms.
• Control and organize the linen and the user's own clothing, its transfer to the laundry, communicating any incident to the person in charge.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of care material, tools, and technical aids in perfect state of cleanliness, as well as communicating any anomaly to the relevant personnel.
• Other tasks required by the Management or the center's supervision that fall within their competencies, as well as their professional category.
