The role

At Eurofirms Santander, we are looking for a Geriatric Care Assistant - Nursing Assistant for an important residence located in Liencres. The functions to be performed are:

What you'll do

Attend to the basic hygiene and personal grooming needs of the users or patients.
Help with the feeding, hydration, and mobilization of the people being cared for when necessary.
Perform postural changes and collaborate in the prevention of pressure ulcers.
Support dressing, personal grooming, and basic activities of daily living.
Collaborate with the nursing staff in the performance of care and assistance procedures.
Prepare and maintain the sanitary material necessary for the care of the users.
Perform the cleaning, disinfection, and basic maintenance of clinical and assistance material.
Take and record basic vital signs when established in the center's protocols.
Accompany and transfer users within the facilities or to consultations and diagnostic tests.
Observe and inform the nursing staff about changes in the physical, emotional, or behavioral state of the users.
Guarantee the well-being, comfort, and safety of the people being cared for.
Participate in the reception and welcoming of new users or patients.
Comply with quality of care, hygiene, safety, and occupational risk prevention protocols.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and personalized care.
