Substation Electrical Assembly Technical Engineers

Education: Advanced Vocational Training (FP Superior) in Electricity/Electromechanics or Industrial Technical Engineering and related fields.

  • Develop the design and provide support for the assembly of the substation's electrical components, ensuring reliable and safe solutions.
  • Design and size equipment, supports, and HV/MV connections; generate layout and section drawings; define material lists; collaborate with assembly supervision; respond to electrical assembly queries during construction.
  • Experience in substation assembly or design; in-depth knowledge of HV equipment (circuit breakers, transformers, etc.).
  • Interpretation and design of electrical and mechanical drawings, support design, thermal and mechanical sizing of busbars, IEC/IEEE standards; proficiency in AutoCAD.
