DevOps Engineer - Cyberdefence Projects - Alcobendas (Hybrid)

✅ Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker in complex environments.

✅ Experience with Helm (charts, release management, advanced configuration).

✅ Demonstrable experience in the design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or other similar tools.

✅ Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent technical education.

✅ Advanced English, both written and spoken, to interact with documentation, tools, and, where applicable, international teams.

✅ Analytical and problem-solving skills, a proactive profile focused on mitigating security risks, with strong communication and teamwork abilities.

✅ Availability to work in a hybrid model (60% remote) from our offices in Barcelona, Madrid, or León.

(Knowledge of identity systems, API management, observability, scripting, SQL, etc. will be considered a plus in the process, but not an exclusionary requirement.)

As a leading company in the defence sector, we want to strengthen our team with a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Indra Sistemas Cyberdefence unit on a strategic Classified Cyber Range project, directly contributing to the protection of critical infrastructures and national cyberdefence capabilities.

In your day-to-day role, you will play a key part in the evolution and hardening of our development and operations environments:

• Lead the evolution of software development, integration, and deployment processes, driving automation, CI, and CD.
• Design and maintain robust, secure, and highly available infrastructures for development, testing, and production environments.
• Manage the deployment and configuration of applications and services, ensuring their stability, scalability, and performance.
• Administer and optimize container platforms and orchestration based on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design, maintain, and evolve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
• Collaborate closely with Cybersecurity teams, ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices throughout the entire software lifecycle.
• Participate in defining the technical architecture and in mitigating security risks, proposing continuous improvements.
• Stay up to date with key technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, GitLab, Harbor, and others related to the DevOps ecosystem.
