Drive cloud infrastructure and automation as a DevOps Engineer

At Initium Software, we connect the best technical talent with the most challenging and innovative projects on the market. We are not a traditional consultancy; we are strategic partners who believe in real impact through technology. As a DevOps Engineer, you will take on a key role to ensure the stability, scalability, and continuous modernization of high-demand hybrid environments, working alongside top-tier multidisciplinary teams.

Your Challenges and Responsibilities

  • Administer Linux environments and container-based workloads (Docker/Podman), guaranteeing maximum stability and operational availability.
  • Design, maintain, and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines and advanced Bash scripts to power continuous delivery.
  • Implement and manage observability, monitoring, and telemetry solutions using stacks such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Tempo.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and architects on deployments and strategic platform modernization initiatives in hybrid and AWS environments.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex production incidents, covering infrastructure, container, and networking issues.

What are we looking for in you?

  • More than 3 years of experience in DevOps, SysAdmin, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
  • Solid practical knowledge of Linux systems and advanced Bash scripting.
  • Proven experience with container technologies, especially Docker and Podman.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and hybrid deployments (public and private cloud).
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or Ansible) and solid networking concepts for diagnosing interfaces, routes, and performance.
  • Experience with observability and metrics tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or similar).
  • Advanced English level (C1), indispensable for interacting fluently in international environments.

We especially value if you also

  • You have experience in the development or support of applications on Java or .NET (C#) runtimes.
  • You possess a deep understanding of memory and CPU management in Linux.
  • You have participated in projects migrating legacy systems to modern architectures.
  • You have experience administering self-hosted tools and implementing high-complexity deployment pipelines.
  • You are passionate about learning, sharing ideas, and evolving alongside the team.

How will we measure your impact?

  • Monthly fulfillment of Project efficiency objectives.
  • Effective alignment and execution of the strategic plan.

What do we offer you?

  • Competitive salary range:  depending on experience and technical fit.
  • 100% remote modality from anywhere in Spain, with flexibility and a focus on results.
  • Involvement in large-scale international projects and technological modernization.
  • Culture based on continuous professional growth, autonomy, and transparency.

At Initium, we don't just develop technology: we create an environment where people can evolve, add value, and leave their mark.
