In our position as a leading company in the defense field, we want to strengthen our team with a Supplier, Hardware, and Obsolescence Management Engineer for SCV.

What you'll do

💡 What will you do? 

  • Management and monitoring of hardware and COTS equipment suppliers (PCs, servers, and peripherals).
  • Coordination with manufacturers and distributors for the acquisition of equipment and components.
  • Technical procurement management, monitoring costs, delivery times, and supply risks.
  • Planning of stockpiling and provisioning based on product needs.
  • Hardware lifecycle management and analysis of component and equipment obsolescence.
  • Assessment of the impact of obsolescence on Voice Communication Systems (SCV).
  • Coordination with the Hardware, Procurement, and Engineering departments to define replacement and product continuity strategies.
  • Technical monitoring of subcontractors dedicated to hardware development.
  • Review and validation of technical documentation, specifications, designs, and deliverables provided by suppliers.
  • Liaison with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with the project's technical requirements.
  • Participation in the planning and continuous improvement of supplier management and product lifecycle.

What are we looking for in you?
