Minimum of 5 years of experience as a backend developer.
Proficiency in Java 8 or higher and frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot.
Solid experience in designing and implementing REST APIs.
Advanced knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
Demonstrated experience in testing (TDD and BDD) and in messaging systems such as Kafka.
Experience in mentoring junior profiles and working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).

We want to hire a Java Backend Engineer with experience in Java 8+, Spring, and PostgreSQL to join Cyberdefense projects.

What you'll do

Develop robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services in cyberdefense environments, working with Java 8+ and Spring in complex and productive environments.
Design, build, and evolve REST APIs, ensuring their maintainability and security.
Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases, mainly PostgreSQL, and implement integrations between systems through messaging (Kafka).
Participate in defining technical architectures and making key decisions.
Apply advanced testing (TDD/BDD), Clean Code principles, and development best practices, guaranteeing software quality and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams under agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe), performing technical mentoring for junior profiles and code reviews.
