Java Back-End Developer / Java Cloud Back-End Engineer

Minimum experience of 5 years in Back-End development with Java, participating in projects based on microservices architectures and distributed systems.

Solid experience in Java 21 or modern versions of Java applied to the development of high-performance backend services.

Experience working with Apache Kafka for the implementation of event-driven architectures and communication between microservices.

Knowledge and experience in Temporal or Uber Cadence for the orchestration of distributed processes and workflows.

Experience in PostgreSQL relational databases, especially in the design and management of data models oriented towards transactional operations.

Experience using Redis or Memorystore as a cache system for performance optimization.

Experience in cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform, working with services such as Google Cloud Storage.

Knowledge of containers and orchestration with Kubernetes, especially in GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) environments.

Experience in dependency management and build processes using Bazel.

Experience in database schema management and versioning using Flyway.

Knowledge of Drools or other rule engines for the management of configurable business logic.

Experience with BigQuery for the storage and exploitation of analytical data.

Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Looker.

Experience in real-time data integration using DataStream or similar tools.

We are looking for a professional with experience in Java Back-End development to join an engineering team working on the construction and evolution of distributed services based on cloud-native architecture on Google Cloud Platform. The selected person will participate in the design, development, and maintenance of event-driven microservices, contributing to the development of scalable and resilient solutions within a modern technological environment.

The role involves working with Java 21 in the implementation of backend services, using Apache Kafka for communication between microservices and Temporal/Cadence for the orchestration of complex processes and workflows. Likewise, they will participate in the development of components that manage transactional operations on PostgreSQL, as well as in performance optimization through the use of Redis/Memorystore as a caching system.

The position also includes tasks related to deployment management in containerized environments on Kubernetes (GKE), as well as integration with storage services in Google Cloud Storage and the management of database schema versioning using Flyway.

Within the team, the professional will collaborate on the technical design of solutions, the implementation of new functionalities, and the continuous improvement of existing systems, participating in a development environment oriented towards distributed architectures, event processing, and data analysis within the GCP ecosystem. Additionally, they may participate in integrations with analytical platforms such as BigQuery and Looker, contributing to data exploitation and the generation of advanced analytical capabilities.

Service provided in a hybrid model, with remote work combined with occasional attendance at the client's offices when required by project or team needs. The professional will integrate into a distributed development team, working in cloud environments and collaborating with different technical teams within the client's technological ecosystem.
