Security Engineer specializing in Firewalls

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in advanced administration, operation, and support of firewall and perimeter security platforms.
• Solid knowledge of LAN and WAN networks, communication architectures, and TCP/IP protocols.
• Experience in SD-WAN technologies and knowledge of dynamic routing protocols, such as OSPF, BGP, or equivalents.
• Experience in security policy management, access control, VPNs, NAT, and network segmentation.
• Knowledge of Proxy solutions and secure access and browsing technologies.
• Analytical capacity for the investigation, diagnosis, and resolution of complex problems in production environments.
• Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and adapt to dynamic technological environments.
• B2 English level or higher for understanding technical documentation, interacting with manufacturers, and participating in international projects.

• Technical certifications from leading perimeter security manufacturers, such as Fortinet (NSE/FCP), Check Point (CCSA/CCSE), Palo Alto Networks (PCNSA/PCNSE), or equivalents.
• Specialized certifications in Proxy platforms and Secure Web Gateway such as Zscaler, Netskope, Forcepoint, or other similar technologies.
• Experience in the design and implementation of perimeter security architectures in hybrid and multicloud environments.
• Knowledge and experience in web application protection technologies and Imperva solutions.
• Academic training or verifiable certifications in cybersecurity, network security, or related disciplines.
• Previous experience in SOC, MSSP, or cybersecurity operations center environments.
• Knowledge of network traffic analysis, monitoring tools, log management, and security incident response.

Experience in technological evolution projects, security platform migration, or the consolidation of network and security infrastructures.

We are looking for a Perimeter Security Technician with experience in advanced firewall administration and network protection technologies to join our cybersecurity team. The selected person will actively participate in the management, operation, and evolution of security services for multiple clients within a SOC environment, ensuring the protection of communication infrastructures, service continuity, and the correct application of security policies.

They will work closely with network, operations, and cybersecurity teams to ensure the correct implementation, administration, and optimization of perimeter security solutions, contributing to risk reduction and the strengthening of our clients' security posture. We are looking for a technical, analytical, and decisive profile, with the ability to operate in complex environments and constant technological evolution.

• Administer, configure, and maintain perimeter security platforms, including next-generation firewalls (NGFW), SD-WAN solutions, and associated technologies.
• Manage the daily operation of assigned security services, guaranteeing compliance with service levels and the correct handling of requests and incidents.
• Analyze, monitor, and manage security events and incidents related to network communications, remote access, and perimeter protection systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting tasks for the identification and resolution of complex connectivity, performance, or security incidents.
• Evaluate, design, and implement changes in security configurations, rules, and policies, ensuring the balance between protection, availability, and business needs.
• Participate in the study, validation, and integration of new security solutions and functionalities within the managed environments.
• Administer and optimize configurations related to VPNs, NAT, traffic filtering, network segmentation, application inspection, and access control.
• Manage SD-WAN environments and collaborate in the definition and optimization of routing policies and secure connectivity between sites and cloud environments.
• Supervise the correct functioning of platforms through monitoring tools, traffic analysis, and alert generation.
• Collaborate on deployment, migration, upgrade, and improvement projects for perimeter security infrastructures for clients in different sectors.
• Prepare and keep up-to-date technical documentation regarding security architectures, configurations, operating procedures, and service standards.
• Analyze the impact of new threats, vulnerabilities, and manufacturer updates, proposing improvements and mitigation measures when necessary.
• Participate in periodic reviews of security policies to ensure their alignment with business, regulatory, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients on continuous improvement initiatives, technical audits, and optimization processes for managed services.
