Requirements

What we're looking for

• Degree in Electrical and Industrial Automation Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Master's in Embedded Systems, or similar

• Programming (C)

• Simulation tools (Matlab/Simulink, PSIM, PSCAD)

• Advanced use of office tools

• Minimum English level B2

Nice to have

• Programming (C#, C++, Codesys, VHDL, Python)

• Knowledge of control systems and converter algorithms

• Basic knowledge of power electronics and electrical machine control

• Previous experience in the design and development of high-tech products in product development departments

• Communication, planning, and problem-solving skills

The role

Ingeteam, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is looking to hire an Embedded SW Designer for Regulation and Control to carry out the following functions:

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and test DSP algorithms and applications for converter control, efficiently managing the material and technical resources approved for this purpose

• Maintain traceability and order in the developed SW product (version control, incident management...)

• Use management tools to provide support for the developed SW product

• Integrate R&D developments optimally into the embedded firmware, efficiently managing memory and timing constraints

• Perform functional verification and validation testing of the developed SW on CPU, HIL platform, or converter

• Detect, analyze, and resolve incidents proactively within the embedded software area

• Provide technical support in their area of expertise for the development of PLC applications

• Review and prepare documentation associated with the developed SW product, both regarding the source code and the algorithms or control strategies
