Education in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
At least 5 years of experience in embedded firmware
Strong command of C applied to microcontrollers (C++ valued if embedded)
Experience developing firmware without an operating system
Strong understanding of interrupts, timing, memory, and register-level programming
Solid knowledge of analog and digital electronics
Experience with complex technological systems requiring high reliability
Ability to work closely with hardware
Intermediate technical English
Experience in an industrial environment
Good documentation practices
Test automation (Python, RobotFramework)
Knowledge of continuous integration tools

The project

You will join an industrial environment specialized in the development of microcontroller-based electronic systems for critical applications.

Firmware is developed without an operating system, under a deterministic architecture with strict management of timing and latency. These are not simple systems, but complex technological platforms where robustness, stability, and reliability are essential.

The technical focus includes:

Deterministic control
Direct hardware integration
Precise management of interrupts and peripherals
High technological demands
Zero-defect-oriented culture
Products with long life cycles in an industrial environment

You will work closely with hardware, validation, and quality teams, participating from technical definition through to product industrialization.

What you'll do

What you will do

Develop firmware for microcontrollers in deterministic architectures
Implement low-level drivers: GPIO, timers, ADC/DAC, PWM, UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, DMA
Program at the register and peripheral level
Manage interrupts and critical timing
Implement industrial communication protocols (CAN, Modbus RTU, RS-485...)
Participate in the definition of new MCU-based electronic boards
Debug and validate using oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and JTAG
Ensure system stability, controlled latency, and predictable behavior
Contribute to a robust, maintainable, and scalable firmware architecture
