School Intern

• Strong passion for working in school environments.
• Basic graphic design skills or experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator) is a plus.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
• Speaks Spanish and English
• Proof of being currently enrolled in a degree program.
• Creative mindset with a desire to contribute fresh ideas.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience on any internship experience is a plus but not required.

The British College of Gavà, an Inspired school, is seeking to appoint an Intern to join us in august / september 2026 on a fixed term and full time timetable but we could go down to a part time basis.

This is an exciting new role in a growing area of the business. The Intern will work closely with several departments and teams to support them with a wide range of tasks, depending on the school's needs and the intern's background. The role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a school environment while contributing to the overall brand-building process.

The internship allows the individual to develop valuable, transferable skills, many of which are applicable across education, administration, and other professional fields.

1. Administrative Tasks

• Filing, photocopying, organizing materials and Office based computer skills
• Assisting with attendance, record-keeping, or scheduling.
• Supporting the front office
• Help with morning registrations on our platform

2. Classroom Support

• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management.
• Help with the setup of Sorts equipment for the PE classes
• Patio and lunch duties
• Outings in school trips
• Exam invigilations
• Assistance in setting up school events

3. Student Engagement

• Supporting extracurricular activities, clubs, or after-school programs. Mentoring or tutoring students.
• Helping with events like assemblies, sports days, or parent evenings.

4. Observation and Learning

• Observing different teaching styles and school operations.
• Attending staff meetings or training sessions.
• Learning about education policies, student behavior, and school culture.

5. Miscellaneous Support

• Setting up technology for lessons or presentations.
• Decorating bulletin boards or organizing classroom spaces.
• Running errands within the school.
