Process Engineer for Painting and Surface Treatments

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Industrial Organization, or similar Engineering. Chemical Engineering will be valued.

• Experience in process engineering, industrialization, or continuous improvement in industrial environments.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, methods and times, and manufacturing processes.

• Knowledge of surface treatments and industrial painting; experience in this field will also be valued.

• Analytical capacity, orientation toward improvement, and the ability to work transversally with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Purchasing.

At ISTOBAL GROUP, we are looking to hire a Process Engineer to participate in the optimization, industrialization, and continuous improvement of plant production processes.

• Analyze and optimize production processes, material flows, and work methods, identifying opportunities for improvement and the reduction of non-value-added operations.

• Control and parameterize surface treatment and painting processes, ensuring technical conditions, dosages, and quality standards.

• Participate in the industrialization of new products, defining methods, assembly times, routes, bills of materials, and other production parameters.

• Design and develop assembly tooling to improve the productivity, quality, and safety of the processes.

• Participate in continuous improvement projects and PDCA meetings, monitoring production indicators such as OEE and PDP Adherence.

• Keep methods, times, procedures, and process documentation up to date, as well as the parameterization and configuration of products and modifications.

• Identify incompatibilities and ensure the correct configuration of assembly operations and production processes.
