The role

At Q-Tech, we are looking for a Senior/Staff DevOps Engineer to join an innovative tech company that is building cutting-edge solutions for a high-demand industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-scale environments and is eager to take full ownership of infrastructure design and automation

What You'll Do:

Design, build, and maintain a scalable, high-performance infrastructure that processes millions of data points in real-time
Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and optimize system reliability
Automate cloud and on-premise infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and containerized environments
Work closely with software and data engineering teams to enhance performance and scalability
Ensure high availability and security, implementing best practices for monitoring, logging, and incident response
Have full autonomy to propose and execute solutions, with no unnecessary bureaucracy slowing you down

Tech Stack:

Cloud: AWS & Azure
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI
Containers & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker
Scripting & Automation: Python, Bash
Big Data & Event-Driven Architectures (highly valued): Apache Iceberg, Hadoop

Who You Are:

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering
Proven experience building and managing high-performance, real-time architectures
Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and automation pipelines
Previous experience in high-scale environments where reliability and performance are key
Ability to work independently, make decisions, and drive technical solutions without micromanagement
Previous exposure to Big Data pipelines is a big plus
