Senior IT Project Manager - Healthcare PMO

• More than 5 years of professional experience in the ICT sector.
• At least 2 years of specific experience in ICT project management within the healthcare field.
• Official university degree of MECES Level 2 (Degree, Diploma, or Technical Engineering) in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or Healthcare.
• Residency in the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, verifiable via a certificate of census registration (empadronamiento), or a signed commitment to relocate.
• ITIL v3 Foundation certification or higher, or a signed commitment to obtain it within a maximum period of 3 months.
• Verifiable knowledge in HL7, service-oriented enterprise architectures (SOA), and healthcare processes.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor projects, manage risks, and control the fulfillment of objectives and deadlines.
• Communication, organization, and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.

At Izertis, we are looking to hire a Senior IT Project Manager to be part of a strategic digital transformation project in the public healthcare sector, providing technical assistance services to the Project Management Technical Office and contributing to the development of the Digital Health Strategic Plan of the Canary Islands Health Service.

• Direct, monitor, and control the lifecycle of assigned healthcare ICT projects, including initiatives funded by MRR/NextGenerationEU funds and projects linked to the PETISD 2026-2030.
• Manage project scope, monitor schedules, analyze deviations in milestones, and propose corrective measures.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and technical or operational bottlenecks.
• Supervise the quality of deliverables, ensuring their alignment with project objectives and the needs of the functional and healthcare managers of the Canary Islands Health Service.
• Coordinate with the various technical, functional, and healthcare teams involved in the projects.
• Participate in change management, defining and executing training actions and training itineraries aimed at users and instructors.
• Monitor project progress through key performance indicators (KPIs), recording tasks, milestones, and results.
• Keep monitoring and management information up to date in corporate tools, such as GLPI, JIRA, and Alfresco.
• Prepare monitoring documentation, progress reports, and improvement proposals to facilitate decision-making.
• Contribute to the coordination, planning, and continuous improvement of the digital transformation initiatives of the Canary Islands public healthcare system.
