What we're looking for

Experience in technical support for fixed access networks.
Knowledge of FTTH architectures and GPON technologies.
Experience with access equipment and related technologies:
- OLT
- ONT
- DSLAM
- HGU
- Routers
Knowledge of fiber optic networks, outside plant, and inside plant.
Experience in equipment configuration and service provisioning.
Knowledge of network protocols:
- DHCP
- ARP
- IGMP
- RIP
- SSH
- Telnet
Fluent Spanish.
English level B2 or higher.

Nice to have

Experience with equipment from various telecommunications manufacturers.
Knowledge of FTTH network elements such as CTO, splitters, and fiber distribution.
Experience using monitoring, inventory, incident management, and network analysis tools.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in operational environments.

The role

We are looking for an N2 Support Technician specialized in fixed access networks to join a team operating large-scale telecommunications infrastructure.

The selected candidate will participate in resolving technical incidents, supporting field teams, and managing service delivery over FTTH and xDSL networks, working in a dynamic and highly technological environment.

What you'll do

Management and resolution of second-level incidents on fixed access networks.
Diagnosis and analysis of incidents related to access equipment.
Technical support for installation teams and field personnel.
Resolution of issues related to service provisioning.
Escalation and coordination of incidents with other technical teams as needed.
Tracking tickets and incidents until their resolution.
Participation in operations and maintenance activities for access networks.
