About the role

We are looking for a technical leadership profile specialized in payment systems to become the reference for a multidisciplinary development team (front, back, and QA). You will be responsible for the overall management of operations for a PSP serving merchants in the Spanish market, leading communication with the acquirer and ensuring efficient integration with RedSys. You will work closely with the product area to implement robust solutions aligned with business needs.

  • Definition and Estimation: You will identify requirements, define their technical scope, and carry out detailed estimation of initiatives.
  • Organization and Prioritization: You will manage your own work autonomously, organizing and prioritizing key tasks to ensure team deliveries.
  • Risk Management: You will identify and mitigate technical and operational risks before they impact delivery.
  • Performance Evaluation: You will provide ongoing follow-up and evaluation of the professional development of team members.
  • Effective Communication: You will communicate clearly, transparently, and concisely with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Architecture and Development: You will design and implement microservices based on Java for multi-layered enterprise applications, relying on REST architectures and cloud environments.
  • Operational Management: You will track the main project KPIs using JIRA.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of experience leading and technically managing self-organizing teams under Agile methodologies.
  • Solid experience developing microservices in Java and multi-layered enterprise application architectures.
  • Mastery of REST architectures and Cloud microservices.
  • Knowledge of AWS at a basic level.
  • Solid experience with frameworks such as Spring Core, MVC, Security, Spring JPA, Hibernate, JPA and log management with Log4j / SLF4J.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) using Jenkins.
  • Proficient use of management tools such as JIRA and KPI tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify requirements, mitigate risks, evaluate performance, and communicate in an agile and concise manner.
  • Previous experience in the development of digital payment methods or payment gateways.
  • Mastery of the acquiring flow, integration operations with RedSys, and management of PSPs for merchants.

  • Deep knowledge of the operating model of Gateways (Processors) and PSPs (Aggregators).
