The role

We are looking for a passionate QA Automation Engineer with technical judgment to join our development teams. Your focus will be on driving the quality strategy, designing and executing tests that ensure robust solutions. Here, you will not only automate tests; you will be an active part in preventing failures, mitigating risks, and adding value to every delivery.

What you'll do

  • Test Strategy and Management: You will design and develop both manual and automated test plans. You will identify requirements, build test scenarios, and manage the data necessary for their flawless execution.
  • Execution and Test Types: You will automate and execute functional tests, covering unit, integration, regression, system, smoke, sanity, and acceptance testing. You will perform continuous tracking of failures during the execution of integration tests.
  • Automation and QA Tools: You will work daily with frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, TestNG, Allure, Cypress, and Docker. You will perform load and performance testing with JMeter or BlazeMeter, as well as API service validation using Postman, SoapUI, and Newman.
  • Incident Management and Code Quality: You will use tracking tools such as ALM and Jira (with its Zephyr and XRail plugins). You will analyze code quality with Sonar, PMD, FindBugs, and Checkstyle.
  • Continuous Integration (CI/CD) and Environments: You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines applying tools such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, and Nexus. You will use version control systems (Git, SVN, CVS) and move fluently in Linux, macOS, and Windows environments using Eclipse IDE.
