Technical Director (Software Architecture & Technology Strategy)

• Experience as a software/solutions architect of at least 10 years in the design, estimation, risk management, and implementation of enterprise solutions across different technologies.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technical reference for clients (not just projects), with technical leaders in charge within them, and skills for team leadership as well as extensive experience in agile methodologies.

• Experience working with Generative AI applied to software development.

• Creativity and sensitivity toward innovation, and initiative to propose and lead new ways of working or team organization.

• Demonstrated capacity to assume management responsibilities, team leadership, and client relations.

• Experience in closed projects.

• Experience in technical pre-sales: solution design, estimation, documentation, risk management, and defense before the client.

• Extensive experience defining software architecture (architecture patterns, hexagonal architecture, SOLID principles, microservices, EDA,...)

• Experience working with different languages and technologies, both backend and frontend.

• Experience and knowledge in Data.

• Design and management of APIs (REST/SOAP) and API Management.

• Experience in Cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Focus on software quality and continuous improvement of development processes.

• High level of English; we have both national and international clients.

At knowmad mood we continue to drive high-impact technological projects and we are looking to incorporate a cross technical reference to participate as the technical lead for the initiatives/projects we carry out for strategic clients.

The objective of this role is to provide vision, align, and empower all horizontal technical activities of the company, both in service execution and in the preparation of technical pre-sales.

Projects are usually technically led by a technical leader from the corresponding technology community. These technical reference figures operate at a higher level, more at a cross-client level and less at a project level.

• Participation as a knowmad mood technical reference for clients where we have high-value services, accompanied by multidisciplinary profiles (technical leaders, architects, Project managers, etc.), with direct interlocution with the client. Everything within a client's operation involves us (full client coverage), from project planning, pre-sales, execution,...

• Technical interlocution with the client. You will participate in the preparation of pre-sales, definition of solutions, presentations to clients regarding the global/specific capabilities of knowmad mood, PoCs, and pilots of certain solutions.

• Entering projects/clients where a solution is becoming complicated in order to unblock it. We attempt to get very close to understand the problem at a low level.

• Promoting best practices and infrastructure for the execution of development projects (Development ecosystem: code repository, IaC,...).

• Participating in technical strategy meetings with technical representatives from different technology communities, to identify synergies as well as decide on technical strategies.

• Proposing new initiatives and leading them technically in collaboration with other Technical Leaders and members of the Expert Center from other Communities (Artificial Intelligence initiatives, new technologies, etc.).

• Design and definition of robust and scalable architectures, aligned with business needs and quality standards.

• Technical feasibility analysis of solutions, evaluating technologies, architectural approaches, and trade-offs.

• Translation between business and technology, ensuring fluid communication and realistic expectations.
