Requirements

What we're looking for

Solid experience with C# and .NET (.NET Core /.NET 6+).
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures.
Experience in front-end development with modern frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue.js).
Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases; experience with SQL Server or MongoDB.
Extensive experience in Microsoft Azure services and cloud environments.
Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Demonstrable experience in automated testing and quality practices (xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps Boards or Jira.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools (for example, GitHub Copilot).

The role

We are looking for a Senior.NET & Azure Engineer to join an international project for one of our clients.

As part of a multidisciplinary Agile team, you will design, develop, and maintain modern cloud-native applications, contributing to scalable architectures and the delivery of high-quality software.

You will play a key role in driving technical excellence, collaborating with various stakeholders, and continuously improving engineering standards and practices.

What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET technologies.
Build and support cloud-native solutions in Microsoft Azure.
Design and implement microservices and distributed systems.
Develop modern interfaces using frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
Configure and manage Azure services and resources.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
Ensure software quality through testing, code reviews, and development best practices.
Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and development teams in an Agile environment.
Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
Support incident resolution, performance optimization, and production problem management.

How you'll work

Important: This is a hybrid position. Candidates are expected to attend the client's offices in Porto (Portugal) once a month, along with the rest of the team.
